My great friends from the Police! Thank you for keeping this city safe and secure and a big thank you for supporting my campaign! I’m very grateful to the officers who took the time out of their day to help the canvassing effort in the Gravesend area!

Veteran Democratic consultant and strategist Hank Sheinkopf endorses Alec Brook-Krasny for City Council.

“I have known Alec for over 20 years and have worked beside him fighting for many causes. I know he is the only candidate with the experience needed to keep us safe. Alec has been endorsed by the New York Police Benevolent Association and will fight against defunding the NYPD,” said Domenic Recchia, Jr.
I’m not new to politics and really understand how the establishment works. How ‘needed’ candidates are being pushed through with ‘strings attached’ and later payoffs. During my service in the Assembly, I have encountered many hurdles where decisions had to be made based on the pressure from above or doing what’s right. I always made the right choice and supported my political colleagues/ ‘friends’ with all their initiatives.
Lately, these so called ‘friends’ are telling me how sorry they are to endorse one of my opponents – on some occasions they don’t even know his name – but they just know that he’s being pushed by the establishment and therefore they need that support.
I’m not surprised and actually was expecting that. I truly think that this makes me a stronger candidate. I owe nobody. My resume and work done for this community speaks for itself. All my endorsements were gained by interviews not inherited from previous office holder. However, once again, I see how weak current leadership is and how much we need to break this cycle of political incompetence for this city.

Ironworkers carried this American Flag throughout the streets of Bay Ridge Brooklyn today marking the 147th Kings County Memorial Day Parade, hosted by the United Military Veterans of Kings County. This is the oldest continuously run Memorial Day Parade in the nation, and it takes place right here in Brooklyn each year. Alec Brook-Krasny salutes them, and all who gave their lives for our nation on this hallowed day.
